We’ve been exploring Christmas events around Texas, and our latest stop was SeaWorld San Antonio’s Christmas Celebration 2025! 🎄✨

⭐ What to Expect at SeaWorld San Antonio Christmas Celebration

🎄 Dazzling Christmas Lights & Decorations

Entrance to SeaWorld San Antonio’s Christmas Market, glowing with thousands of hanging warm white lights and festive holiday décor.

SeaWorld transforms into a sparkling winter wonderland with millions of lights, a festive parade, a glowing light tunnel, tons of photo ops, and themed holiday zones throughout the park. This event is perfect for families who love festive outings, holiday lights, and classic theme park fun.

🎁 RhythMotion Christmas Parade

One of the highlights of our visit was the RhythMotion Christmas Parade — a fun and upbeat holiday parade featuring dancers, colorful sea-life floats, music, and plenty of festive cheer.

The kids especially loved all the bubbles floating from the passing floats! It made the whole parade feel extra magical.

It’s a great time to sit back, relax, and enjoy the entertainment.

Crowd-wise, we found the parade route the busiest right around showtime, but still very manageable — we grabbed a front-row spot by waiting about 15 minutes before it began.

🎢 Kid-Friendly Rides & Festive Areas

SeaWorld keeps many of its rides open during the Christmas season, which makes this event extra fun for families.

From kid-friendly rides to coasters for thrill-seekers, there’s something for everyone.

If your family enjoys a mix of rides + holiday lights, this is a perfect event.

Crowds during our Sunday visit were manageable, and although more families arrived after dark for the lights, the event never felt too busy.

🍪 Seasonal Treats & Snacks

While we didn’t grab any treats during our visit, you’ll find plenty of holiday snacks around the park.

If you love exploring seasonal menus, you’ll have lots to try!

They also offer a Dinner with Santa and Mrs. Claus, which you can reserve in advance.

🎄 Is SeaWorld San Antonio Christmas Celebration Worth It?

We are season pass holders — and we vote yes!

If you love visiting SeaWorld, this is a fantastic event you won’t want to miss, especially if you're looking for a holiday experience with:

✔ Beautiful lights

✔ A fun Christmas parade

✔ Rides for all ages

✔ A family-friendly atmosphere

✔ Plenty of festive photo spots

We found it to be a great combination of holiday magic + theme park fun, which makes it one of the top Christmas events in Texas for families.

  • Check parade times early — a little planning helps you get a great view.

  • Bring a stroller if you have little ones — the park involves lots of walking.

  • Plan for a full evening — the lights are most magical after dark.

❤️ Why We Loved It

A rock ’n’ roll themed snowman holding an electric guitar at SeaWorld San Antonio’s Christmas Celebration, lit with colorful holiday lights.

It’s so much fun to soak in the holiday magic while still being able to enjoy the theme park rides, and let the kids enjoy the playground! We loved that the normal attractions were open during the event — and that it was included with our season pass.

Standouts for our family were the funny themed snowmen decorations — a creative twist on the classic! We loved the rock ’n’ roll snowman, the football player setup where the ball had been tossed through one of the snowmen, and the basketball snowman whose head and the ball had been swapped. The parade dancers’ energy was great, and it was so fun to ride the roller coasters after dark! The whole night felt festive, not too busy, and very family-friendly.
